Steven Watwood is the owner of North Alabama Heating & Air Conditioning, a family-founded business rooted in a legacy of quality workmanship and dependable service. Introduced to the HVAC trade by his grandfather, Steven began working in the field at 18, gaining hands-on experience during summers and school breaks while putting himself through college. Those early years shaped both his technical expertise and his commitment to doing the job right for homeowners.

After becoming more involved in the company, Steven chose to carry on his grandfather’s legacy by taking ownership of the business. He pursued and obtained all necessary professional credentials, including his Alabama HVAC License, Master Gas Fitter License, EPA Certification, and required city and state business licenses. Today, he leads the company with a strong focus on safety, system performance, and customer satisfaction.

Steven holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business with a concentration in Marketing, which supports his ability to manage operations, communicate effectively with clients, and grow the business. His professional approach blends practical field experience with a solid understanding of business strategy.

He remains committed to ongoing education, staying current with evolving HVAC technologies, energy efficiency standards, and best practices in installation and safety. While his work has primarily been hands-on rather than public-facing, Steven has spent years helping homeowners solve complex HVAC challenges and improve the comfort and reliability of their systems.

A lifelong resident of Huntsville, Alabama, Steven lives there with his wife and two children. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, watching sports—especially football, golf, and NASCAR—and working on hands-on projects like woodworking and home improvements.
